Assessment and Asset Management
As infrastructure ages, maintenance and repair needs become increasingly important. Replacement costs can often be avoided with a good inspection and preventive maintenance plan. Unfortunately pipelines, bridge traffic, and dam flows running fully charged, cannot be shut down for conventional methods of inspection. Correspondently, the cost to inspect and maintain these systems becomes too great and is often overlooked. The risk of a system failure can lead to unnecessary emergency repairs or replacements resulting in a much greater expense. CASI has been engineered to inspect these structures while active with no down time, just results.
Reporting
Our proprietary sonar imaging technology consistently produces the highest resolution inspections of underground piping available today. The other data formats we provide will vary based on the needs and type of survey being conducted. Engineering reports go beyond basic calculations of erosion and sediment buildup. SSI holds follow up meetings with our clients' engineers so the complete results can be explained and utilized by the clients with confidence. Our job is not complete until the client understands and is satisfied with the inspection results. Some graphical formats used to address sediment concentration and erosion are shown below:
